Serge Pajak is Associate Professor of Economics at Université Paris-Saclay (Faculty of Law, Economics and Management) and a member of the RITM research center. He holds a PhD in economics of innovation and intellectual property from Telecom ParisTech (2011), following a master's degree in industrial organization at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
His current research explores nudge in digital interfaces, artificial intelligence, and ethics, with an emphasis on experimental and behavioral methods. His work has appeared in such journals as Economics of Innovation and New Technology and Journal of Economics & Management Strategy. He also lectures at Université Paris-Dauphine on how to leverage large scale, real-world experiments for managerial decision-making, along with the role of generative AI in organizations.
At Université Paris-Saclay he currently advises the vice-presidency on generative AI and pedagogical transformations, following service on the university's Council for Research Ethics.
He is the director of the master program M2 Innovation, Digital, Conseil, which he cofounded to address the growing demand for graduates capable of leading digital transformation in both private and public organizations.
